Named after the legendary farmworker hero, the Dolores Huerta Labor Institute is a historic and innovative model for labor education throughout the nation.
Funded by Los Angeles unions and the Los Angeles Community College District, the Labor Institute brings the energy of the nation’s most exciting labor region into the classroom together with union leaders, faculty and students.
Serving the 9 campuses of the Los Angeles Community College District, which cover all corners of Los Angeles County, the Labor Institute offers a broad range of labor courses, seminars, film series and lectures with labor experts and scholars, resources for faculty, and internship and volunteer opportunities for students.
"What a great idea to provide this resource for the labor community when we need to find trusted professionals and service providers. And the online version is even easier to use."
